ONLINE THERAPY FOR WOMEN
ONLINE PSYCHOTHERAPY FOR WOMEN
Online Therapy for Women is a psychotherapy service for women.
When life is ordinary with its usual ups and downs, women manage. We live our daily lives, our minds and bodies working, and we rely on them for common sense, good judgement, vital energy and strength. We are surrounded by people whom we love and who care.
And then something happens, out of the blue or it creeps in gradually. A sudden physical illness or a chronic malaise, loss of a loved one or a major life’s challenge followed by confusion, worry, anxiety and depression. Things veer off course, minds and bodies falter, women lose their balance.
Then the pain comes. Whether physical or mental, very often both. Women grapple with adversity: economic hardship, health, fertility, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, work-related stress or ageing. In search of a better life, women change cities and countries, leaving precious support networks behind. Alone, we can feel lost, stuck and isolated. We need to get back on our feet and regain our balance.
Being stuck in a painful place isn’t easy. Powerful feelings overwhelm us, they require patience, space and time. A moment comes when we need a listening ear, someone who gets it without judging. Online Therapy for Women is designed specifically for that. It offers emotional support by providing one-to-one online psychotherapy sessions.
Feel freer, breathe better, walk lighter
The therapy is delivered by me, Olga Utrivanova, a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, trained in London by the National Health Service (NHS) at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
Appropriate emotional support is key, especially during life’s unavoidable changes. Changes to a woman’s body and her mind – whether recovering from a critical illness, trauma, menopause or loss. Feeling well supported mentally is vital, it helps us foster our self-acceptance and grow self-esteem. We learn to listen to and trust our thoughts and feelings, reconnecting our bodies and our minds.
Such healthy attitudes of self-respect make our mental structures stronger, build our resilience and bring relief from pain. We untangle the knot of our difficult symptoms and with newfound energy and strength we grow and move on.
